I recently had a short story published in the Main Street Rag, (Fall 2024). I’ve been meaning to promote this issue for a while. I’m really pleased to have this story featured here, as it’s printed alongside some other really great stories and writing.
“Unknown Remainder” explores the boundaries of loneliness and perception. This particular story holds a dear place in my heart because it was my first idea I ever had for a story. It was an idea that first got me interested in studying creative writing and fiction. Although I’d set the idea aside many years ago, not really sure how to make a story about “everyone vanishing” into something interesting, I eventually felt a had a better grasp of how to turn this story into something I wanted to be both interesting, and perhaps inspiring to anyone feeling anything similar to the narrator. I hope you’ll give it a read. The issue can be purchased by clicking here: Main Street Rag Fall 2024.
